The Dalmascan Jungle; a harsh and unforgiving place. Deep out of sight, out of mind, almost forgotten. An old and ancient people protect and reside in this great jungle. It is where she was born, some two centuries ago... how easy it is to forget. This is where Fida was raised and trained to be a Verndari. A fighter, protector, guardian. This home she would eventually leave.
Verndari
The Guardians, the Protectors. Her clan were people of the Jungle who have a sacred duty to ensure it's survival; and her job was to maintain balance and heal the forest. She specialises in magic, though picking up a weapon every now and again is not beyond her - she's had plenty of time to practice. Her bond with the life stream is strong, even now, after being away from the Jungle for so long. She feels the tethers of life and could mend them with a gentle touch.

With war looming and the recently liberated Doma, her clan began to wonder what the rest of the world was doing - surviving? Already succumbed to the wrath of the Garlean's who once tried to venture through? They did not know. The seclusion of the Jungle, while it kept their race alive and prosperous for so long, also meant they had little information about their imminent doom. And so, Fida was given an important task. And she would make her way across Eorzea to learn what she could of the rest of the world.

It has been a couple of years since she settled in the land of Eorzea - and while every day she feels the pull of her home, the Jungle, the two-century old Viera has decided to stay. Whatever that means for her future with her clan is unknown. For now, she enjoys her new life and adjusts to the world of Eorzea as best she can. One day she dreams of going back, and sometimes her feet take her teetering to the line of their territories, but fear - or something akin to it, stops her from crossing that border entirely.

Though, do not assume that means she will not fight - raise arms against her, and she will prove herself hardily. She enjoys a good spar with people she trusts, and proving her prowess when she can.

Dark hair can often be found messy or tame, it depends on how recently she's visited home to get it seen to by a professional at the behest of her partner. Thick, twisting curls are hard to maintain. Blemishes of freckles kiss ashen cheeks, and golden eyes shine bright all hours of the day. Her form is strong. Having spent many years honing her skills, from archery to lancework, as well as magic, she holds a well toned hourglass figure. Strong legs from running and traversing through the thick underbrush of the Golmore Jungle, leporine feet carry her along with a graceful stride.

She enjoys speaking of their experiences, how they have come to view this land, and if they call it home now.The Helping Hand: Through her many years wielding magic and martial arts alike, Fida is more than happy to join the fray of danger if it means helping someone out. If you find yourself in a tough situation, perhaps the fates may align to find her by your side, helping.
The Healing Hand: Fida's specialities with healing magic attune her to nature, rather than people. You may find her out in the world, healing the scars of battle that litter the land, sowing back the seems of fauna and flora so that it may prosper once more.Experiencing the World: There are still many places and many things she hasn't experienced yet that she wishes too.
